For an extra charge amounting to 10% of the challenge fee, traders have the opportunity at checkout to choose to maintain their trades over the weekend. This option is referred to as the Hold Over the Weekend add-on and allows the holding of all asset classes, including indices and commodities.
If this option isn't chosen, due to the possibility of unforeseen events occurring over the weekend, we necessitate all trades to be finalized by 3:45 pm EST on Friday.
Additionally, if this option isn't activated, accounts will enter a "close only" mode by the same deadline, restricting the initiation of new trades over the weekend.
Trades that remain open beyond this deadline will be automatically closed to enforce compliance with the policies. However, trading can resume normally when the markets reopen.
For those that purchase the weekend-holding upgrade, trading remains available for all asset classes during the weekend with no additional fees, except for temporary breaks in trading (crypto trading breaks include from 5-6 PM EST and 9 AM-1 PM EST on Saturday mornings).
