Leverage + Max Lot Sizes
Updated over a week ago

All demo accounts across all of our programs come with 15:1 leverage on FX and Metals. Crypto comes with 2:1 and Indices 10:1.

Regardless of whether the double leverage upgrade is purchased, the following max lot sizes apply to all accounts on all programs:

$5,000 Evaluation Account = 1 lot with open risk

$10,000 Evaluation Account = 2 lots with open risk

$25,000 Evaluation Account = 5 lots with open risk

$50,000 Evaluation Account = 10 lots with open risk

$100,000 Evaluation Account = 20 lots with open risk

$200,000 Evaluation Account = 40 lots with open risk

If you exceed the maximum lot size, our system will automatically close your trade. This is considered a soft breach, and you can continue trading your account.

What is open risk?

Once your trade is in profit and you've moved your stop loss to either breakeven or
in profit, the trade is no longer considered to be running with "open risk," and you
can, therefore, open additional trades with additional lots.

For example, on a $100,000 account, if you take a trade with 20 lots, once your stop
loss is at breakeven or in profit, you can execute a second trade with an additional
20 lots, for a total of 40 lots. So on and so forth.

Do note that margin and leverage requirements still apply. So, even though these are
the maximum lots that can be traded, it is possible based on the leverage of the
account that you may not be able to trade up to the maximum depending on the
specific trade.
